Some information on good panoramic cameras that you like and why. Have shifted from portrait work to landscapes and need advice from square format to panoramic format cameras.
Hi, Susan. I will try to follow up on your suggestion ASAP. Meanwhile, there are two separate articles on panoramas in Explorations in Photography (the book), and a third one I recently wrote for the KEHblog here: http://www.kehblog.com/2012/10/what-makes-good-panoramic-image.html
The history of panoramic cameras is interesting, but except for the iPhone panoramic feature, most cameras do panos by cropping the regular frame off at top and bottom.
